WHAT TYPE OF SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
AKC Golden Retrievers. All of our puppies are examined by a veterinarian, receive their first round of vaccinations, and will be dewormed. We offer Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) & Early Scent Introduction (ESI). We also administer personality tests to all puppies - currently we are giving the Volhard Personality Test & the PAWS Working Dog Evaluation. Puppies are sent home with a welcome bag full of starting supplies and other amenities, as well as an owner folder containing necessary forms, records, helpful information, and coupons.
WHAT TYPE OF AKC REGISTRATION DO YOU OFFER?
Limited AKC Registration. Buyers will have the option to change to a Full AKC Registration after providing proof of required health certifications, as detailed in our puppy contract. We do not charge an additional fee - we only ask that the buyer pays the $25 processing fee charged by AKC.
DO YOU OFFER A HEALTH GUARANTEE?
We offer a 2-part health guarantee, as detailed in our puppy contract:
1) We offer a guarantee of the puppy's health at the time of transfer to the buyer. For the first 7 days, if the puppy is examined by a veterinarian and found to be in poor health due to conditions that were present before transfer, the puppy can be returned for a refund.
2) We offer a guarantee of the puppy's ability to obtain the breed recommended OFA clearances (Hips, Elbows, Eyes, & Advanced Cardiac) by the age of 3. If the dog fails any OFA clearances, the dog must be spayed/neutered, the purchase price will be refunded, and the buyer will keep the dog.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR PUPPIES?
Price will vary each litter, but will be in the range of $3000-$3500. There are many potential considerations that go into determining the puppy price for every litter. Some factors include costs for obtaining health clearances, veterinary care (including specialists) for dam & puppies, stud fees, breeding type (natural vs artificial insemination), size of litter, formula supplementation, whelping & puppy rearing supplies/equipment, amenities included in take-home bags, Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for air travel, and current market rate of comparable litters.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
We require a $500 deposit, included in the price of the puppy. The deposit is fully refundable if a new puppy buyer is found prior to the 8th week home release date. If there is no new buyer by then, the refund is prorated at $100/wk until a new buyer is found, or until the deposit is reduced to $0.
DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A LITTER ON THE GROUND, OR ONE ON THE WAY?
We don't have any litters currently, but we will update if and when one is confirmed. While we do plan on having more litters, sometimes things don't go our way, despite our best efforts. For this reason, we can't forecast any planned litters.
